Empowering Individuals Through Technology and Opportunity

WeReach offers the Re-entry Workforce Development Program, created to support individuals re-entering society after incarceration. This program provides meaningful tools and resources to help participants access long-term employment and build financial stability.

One of the main components is the IT Training Track, which prepares participants for careers in cybersecurity support and IT services — growing fields with strong job opportunities.

IT Training: Build Your Future in Tech

This specialized training equips returning citizens with essential technical and workplace skills, offering:

Up to five industry-recognized certifications

40 hours of soft skills training (communication, teamwork, time management)

A $250 stipend after completing the first 40-hour course

Job placement support and networking opportunities

Flexible format: In-person (Lynn, MA) and online options available

Courses are designed to be taken in sequence and are tailored to the needs and experience level of each participant.

Certification Pathway (CompTIA):

  • IT Fundamentals (ITF+) – Optional intro to computer basics (recommended for beginners)
  • CompTIA A+ Core 1 – Focus on hardware essentials
  • CompTIA A+ Core 2 – Understanding operating systems and software
  • CompTIA Network+ – Learning how systems connect and communicate
  • CompTIA Security+ – Strategies for protecting digital infrastructure

Each completed course earns a certificate and brings participants closer to strong job opportunities in the IT field.

Who Qualifies?

This training is for individuals who are formerly incarcerated or involved in the justice system. The first step is to fill out a short inquiry form — we’ll follow up to help you get started based on your experience and goals.
