Free Youth Cooking Program

Life Skills in a Real Kitchen

WeReach proudly sponsored a free youth cooking series hosted at Sunset Cantina. Students stepped into a professional kitchen environment and learned authentic Mexican recipes while building essential life skills such as teamwork, responsibility, communication, and confidence.

The program offered more than culinary instruction — it created a safe, structured space where young people could learn by doing, take pride in their work, and experience mentorship in action.

Programs like this demonstrate the power of community partnerships in expanding opportunity and exposing youth to real-world environments.
